Joe Simpson joined DDM Hotels of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in 2020. He is currently a Senior Associate for our Hospitality Division and has experience in the development and management of hotels, as well as hospitality sales. Mr. Simpson comes from a family that has been in real estate, development, and property management throughout the Carolinas for over 20 years.
Mr. Simpson specializes in hospitality transactions, including but not limited to select-service, full-service, extended-stay, and economy hotels. Mr. Simpson is well versed in 1031-exchanges, assisting clients into like-kind properties deferring taxes and improving cash flows.
He also works daily with MMCC, Marcus & Millichap’s subsidiary capital corporation, helping clients get comprehensive lending terms. A Graduate of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.S. in Business Management, his background is in real estate sales and management.
