Josh Wintermute is a Senior Managing Director of Marcus & Millichap and an Executive Director of the firm’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division. Josh along with his business partners, Michael Barron and Daniel Burkons, oversee IPA’s Midwest multifamily operations. Since joining the firm in 2007, Josh has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of the team, which focuses exclusively on the sale of apartment communities throughout Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and neighboring states.
During his career Josh has sold more than 78,000 units across 14 states totaling $4.98 Billion. This includes single assets as well as larger, multi-state portfolios. His diversified client base comprises of a wide variety of investors from private individuals to publicly traded companies both domestic and abroad and includes some of the largest multifamily owners in the country.
Josh is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Real Estate and Urban Analysis. Amongst Josh’s additional accomplishments he is consistently recognized as a top producer within Marcus & Millichap.
