Kara Kirkpatrick, Vice President of Multi Family has over 12 years of industry experience. She has a passion for sales, coaching and development of people. Her belief throughout her career has always been, people work for people. Over the past twelve years, Kara has been awarded Sales leadership awards, honored with Partner of the Year by the California Apartment Association in 2018, as well as completion of an extensive coaching certifications while in California.
Prior to joining Billingsley, Kara was a Sr. Director of Operations at Irvine Company Apartment Communities. Kara grew up in Orange County, California, and had spent eight years in San Diego, serving as a Sr. Director as well as holding various HOA roles within her community. While at The Irvine Company, Kara cultivated their current culture platform, helped design and implement various sales and leasing programs as well as pioneered various software and training programs. She migrated to Texas in 2019 and worked at Mid America Apartment Communities as a Regional Vice President in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. After a year of acclimating to Texas, Kara was quickly drawn to the culture and design Billingsley had to offer, joining the team officially in May of 2021.
A native Californian, Kara holds a real estate license in California. She is active in the LGBTQ community and enjoys spending time with her dogs, Petunia and Gracie as well as exploring the city with her spouse, Karmen.
