Asset management at Kessinger/Hunter involves managing portfolios of property for institutional owners. This is an extension of Kessinger/Hunter=s normal property management services. Facilities management is a broad based field involving direct management of corporate properties, managing corporate real estate information systems, and managing engineering departments. Office development work is focused on providing all levels of office development consulting. This includes working as an owner’s representative, site analysis, developing construction strategies, and tying office design to market conditions. Major Transactions/Projects Ken's primary responsibilities are in the area of large scale institutional ownership. Some owners have multiple properties which we manage as portfolios. Others are institutional owners with single projects. Crown Center in Kansas City is an example of such work. Mr. Nicolay's development experience includes major buildings and smaller redevelopment projects. He is currently working on Hallbrook Office Center development and several U.S. Oncology buildings. Facilities management is a core business which involves office buildings, hotels and single purpose buildings. Ken works directly for corporations in fulfilling all or some of their real estate needs. Information management is as important as managing people or physical structures. Career History Ken began working with commercial real estate in 1978 and has been affiliated with Kessinger/Hunter since 1989. Education B.A. in History, University of Kansas; Master's degree in Regional Planning and M.A. in Anthropology, Cornell University; and an M.B.A. in Finance from Rockhurst College Community Leadership Board of Directors, Friends of the Zoo Head Aikido Instructor, Asian Arts Center
