Bio
A Mount Pleasant native, Kevin Keating attended Mount Pleasant Public Schools and is a 1990 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, where he earned varsity letters in Wrestling and Football. Kevin graduated from Michigan State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science and Law. After spending over 15 years in the business world; developing commercial property, opening, and managing a 300-seat restaurant and night club, working with world class, Fortune 500 companies Robert Half International Inc. and Automatic Data Processing, Inc., Kevin returned to Mount Pleasant to apply that experience and knowledge to a career in real estate. Kevin represents buyers and sellers of residential, recreational, and commercial properties in the Central Michigan area. In 2005 Kevin earned the Accredited Buyer Representative designation. In 2015, Kevin earned his Associate Broker’s license, completing an extra 90 hours of real estate education. Kevin has negotiated commercial leases, assists in sales of vacant and recreational properties, and has assisted in the sale and or purchase of foreclosed properties. When not selling real estate Kevin spends time with his son Brendan, and also enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking, raising chickens and remodeling the 105-year-old field stone schoolhouse he bought in the summer of 2006.
