Lee Barnes Jr. is the founder/Managing Director of the Woodman Group. Prior to the Woodman Group LLC Lee worked at the Garibaldi Group, CB Richard Ellis and Trammel Crow Company. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Roanoke College.
Mr. Barnes brings outstanding knowledge of the northern/central New Jersey marketplace as well as a strong work ethic to each and every assignment. In addition, having throughout his career represented tenants and landlords alike, Mr. Barnes possesses invaluable insights into all aspects of the selling/buying/leasing process.
Since the inception of Mr. Barnes’ commercial real estate career he has been involved with a number of transactions totaling over a million square feet including such companies as Continental Airlines, Maersk, Inc., iGate Technologies, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP, A.G. Edwards, Sovereign Bank, Wachovia Securities, Hooper Holmes and Normandy Real Estate Partners.
Lee is an outdoor enthusiast and his passion is Flyfishing. He is a long time Trout Unlimited member whose mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. He serves on the Summit YMCA Advisory Board and is a deacon at his local church. Mr. Barnes currently resides in New Providence, NJ with his wife and two children, Emily and Hunter.
