Lorna Abercrombie, Vice President of Human Resources, joined Aimbridge – the international division of Aimbridge Hospitality – in 2018 and is responsible for supporting the development and delivering the People Strategy across all Interstate managed hotels in the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe & CIS. Leading a team of HR Business Partners and the HR Shared Service function, Lorna focuses on a broad scope of people practises and concepts to drive culture and optimise business performance. Lorna has over 20 years’ experience as a Human Resources professional. Lorna began her career in retail with Tesco PLC and, during her 18 year tenure, she held various HR Operational and Strategic roles within the organisation before moving to the hospitality industry, joining Interstate Hotel & Resorts as the HR Operations Director, UK & Ireland and most recently the HR Operations Director International, Corporate & Hotels. Lorna is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has been an Insights Discovery Practitioner for over 5 years.
