His expertise spans all facets of the business, including the marketing and leasing of shopping centers, investment sales, land acquisition, development, and tenant representation. Throughout his career, Marc has represented an impressive roster of institutional landlords and national brands such as TFE Properties, Mandelbaum & Mandelbaum, Maxim Realty Trust, N.T. Hegeman, The Kaufman Organization, Playa Bowls, McDonald’s, Barnes & Noble, Just Salad, The Strand Salon Studios, and Mattress Plus. He is equally committed to serving regional property owners and local entrepreneurs, offering tailored solutions to maximize long-term value. With a deep understanding of market dynamics, Marc has developed a specialty in representing quick-service restaurants, medical tenants, financial institutions, large-format dining concepts, and big-box retailers. A Paramus native, Marc has established himself as a dominant force along the highly trafficked Route 4 and Route 17 corridors, completing over 25 lease and sale transactions in this competitive retail corridor. Prior to co-founding VanRock, Marc worked at The Goldstein Group for 9 years, specializing in retail leasing and sales. His passion for the industry runs deep—raised in a family of real estate professionals, learning the business from his parents. He began his career at Palestina Scrivo Properties, his father’s brokerage, where he focused on industrial and office deals. Marc earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from William Paterson University, where he also competed as a collegiate athlete on the university’s baseball team in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), staying closely connected to evolving trends and industry best practices.
