Mr. Bowman has expertise in all aspects of real estate including strategic planning, development, portfolio management, technology, consulting and transaction services. Mr. Bowman started his career as an attorney for the General Counsel of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago where he worked on real estate, finance, legislative, and corporate matters. Mr. Bowman joined Howard Ecker + Company, a Chicago based commercial real estate firm, in 1988 as a real estate consultant representing corporate tenants in office and industrial lease transactions, purchase and sale of commercial buildings, and corporate build-to-suit projects. Shortly after joining the company, Mr. Bowman was placed in charge of managing the company’s national brokerage accounts. In 1991, Mr. Bowman co-founded National Facilities Group, Inc. (“NFG”), a real estate and technology consulting firm specializing in strategic real estate planning and automation of the lease administration function for national and multinational corporations. As Chief Operating Officer of NFG, Mr. Bowman grew the company to become one of the most respected real estate and technology firms in the marketplace. NFG utilized its industry leading proprietary software system called SLIM – Strategic Lease Information Management – to automate the corporate real estate departments of more than 125 Fortune 1000 corporations. Mr. Bowman and his partners sold NFG to Los Angeles based Accruent, Inc. in 2004 and joined Accruent to integrate the companies and provide executive level consulting services to Accruent and NFG customers. He parted with Accruent in 2009 to establish and manage an Illinois and Michigan based commercial real estate office focused on representing corporate tenants throughout the Midwest.
