Matthew Luchs is a seasoned commercial real estate advisor and Senior Vice President at The Zacuto Group, specializing in investment sales, advisory, and strategic repositioning of commercial assets across the Los Angeles market. With over $1.5 billion in career transaction volume, Matthew has built a reputation for delivering results across complex, high-value deals, working closely with private investors, family offices, and developers to execute tailored strategies across multi-tenant retail, mixed-use, office, and land development assets.
Before joining The Zacuto Group, Matthew served as Chief Operating Officer and First Vice President on one of Los Angeles’ highest-volume investment sales teams, where he was instrumental in driving brokerage operations, team development, and client performance. He also held the role of Regional Manager at Marcus & Millichap, where he led one of the firm’s top-producing offices, overseeing more than $1 billion in annual transaction volume and managing a team of over 50 agents.
Matthew has received several industry awards recognizing his leadership and dealmaking capabilities. He was honored with Marcus & Millichap’s Pace Setter Award for early-career excellence, and named the recipient of the Best Hospitality Sale by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the landmark transaction of The Abbey and The Chapel in West Hollywood, a legacy asset that attracted over 150 qualified buyers and closed in an all-cash deal in 2024 for $45,000,000. Most recently, he was recognized as a 2025 Connect CRE Next Generation Award winner, honoring rising leaders under 35 transforming the future of commercial real estate.
