As Director of Retail for Hillwood, McKenna Batey assists in the strategic planning, leasing, and development of retail projects within AllianceTexas, a 27,000-acre master-planned development. She works to create a dynamic tenant mix within Alliance Town Center, Circle T Ranch, and other Hillwood retail destinations in North Texas. She is committed to creating retail environments that enhance community connectivity and drive long-term economic growth.
Prior to joining Hillwood, McKenna was an Associate at Edge Realty Partners, specializing in tenant representation and restaurant disposition. Her experience in market analysis, site selection, and lease negotiations has equipped her with the skills to foster strategic partnerships and deliver successful retail developments. Known for her meticulous approach, strong communication skills, and results-driven mindset, she plays a pivotal role in shaping Hillwood’s retail strategy.
McKenna graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. While at Texas Tech, she completed her Spanish minor through the TTU College of Arts and Sciences in Seville, Spain, broadening her global perspective on business and commerce.
