Michael Abrams, CHAE, MBA, is the Chief Financial Officer of Packwood Management Inc. and Director of Finance for the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, where he oversees financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, information systems, and policy implementation across hospitality operations. He has served in senior finance leadership roles at the Francis Marion Hotel since 2005 and at Packwood Management since 2015, supporting hotel ownership, management teams, and property-level accounting functions. Abrams previously held finance roles with Marriott International and Edgewater Beach Resort and currently serves as President of the South Carolina Chapter of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). He holds a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel’s Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business and the Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive (CHAE) designation.
