Michael Arfsten was born and raised in California. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from California State University of Fresno in May 1993.
In August of 1993 Michael joined Scott, Lauritzen, Mathias Associates where he specialized in Retail Properties and Tenant Representation. In 1995 Scott, Lauritzen, Mathias Associates merged with Diel Andrews & Company to form Alliance Commercial. While at Alliance Commercial, Michael received the award of most transactions in 1995, 1996, and 1997. In January of 1998 Michael joined Commercial Retail Associates earning Top Producer Award 1998, 1999 and 2000. In January of 2001 Michael left CRA and joined Fortune Associates.
Michael Arfsten, alongside fellow brokers Peter Orlando and Jim Huebner, etablished Retail California in March of 2005.
