Michael is a father of two and the Principal Broker of Metropolitan Real Estate, a full service brokerage specializing in residential sales and property management in the Metro Detroit area. In 1995, Michael created the "Shannon Team" to handle managing and selling REO properties. Since 1991, the Shannon Team has closed over 4000 real estate transaction sides. In 2009, Real Trends Magazine ranked the Shannon Team #10 in the United States based on 637 closed sides, a 50% increase over 2008, which ranked us in the Top 30 Teams based on 423 closed sides. Due to dedication, and hard work, we rank nationally in the Top 250 teams year after year.
Most of Michael's success is derived from his unwavering dedication to providing the highest level of customer service, and his never ending goal of life long education. Michael has earned a Bachelor's Degree, both his MI agent license, and broker's license, numerous real estate designations including: GRI, ABR, CBR and SFR designations. In addition, Michael has certifications in RDCPRO, A-REO, Res.Net, Equator Platinum REO and Short Sale, & Corelogic valuations.
