Bio
Nick specializes in commercial sales services and office/retail leasing for clients in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. He provides both tenant and landlord representation, focusing primarily on the downtown Washington, D.C. office market. Mr. Katz works closely with some of the firm’s top leasing agents in guiding his clients through the complex real estate analysis and lease transaction process.
Nick is also a founding member of the Energy Efficiency Partnership of Greater Washington which is a Virginia Tech initiative to retrofit commercial buildings throughout the National Capital Region. Hannan Armstrong has put up $500 Million to finance the auditing and retrofitting of the properties. Pepco Energy, the other core partner undertakes the majority of the energy audits and retrofits of the buildings. Nick is the co-chair of the Partnership Development Committee and is in charge of assessing potential projects for the Partnership.
