Active throughout Midwest markets including Chicago, Milwaukee-Madison, and Minneapolis-St. Paul, Pete’s history holds $8.4 billion in 148 successfully closed transactions, spanning 40,000+ units.
With the genesis of his career as a commercial appraiser, multifamily loan underwriter with Freddie Mac, and leader of several mortgage banking offices, Pete Evans brings depth and 30+ years of insights and perspective to his tenure as a multifamily investment sales specialist. Prior to joining Berkadia, Pete was the President and Midwest Managing Partner at Moran & Company for 15 years. Pete enjoys every CRE conundrum, complexity, and quirk as fascinating opportunities to serve his clients.
Deeply dedicated to providing Affordable Housing, Pete is Chairman of the Board of OTR Housing. He became OTR’s Chairman of the Board after donating his time to structure the capital stack for new developments when the foundation lost their funding source. Pete looks forward to a future of serving the community, making inroads in this movement, and delivering a multitude of key affordable housing communities.
