Philip Samples is an Associate in the Fort Worth Office. He is responsible for growth and business development, with a focus in building relationships with property owners. Philip's transactions include industrial, office, retail, and land as well as, property management, with specialties ranging from leasing, sales, acquisitions, build to suits, subleases, design builds and sale-lease backs.
Philip received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate from the University of North Texas. He also studied Texas Real Estate at Leonard Hawes in Dallas and obtained a commercial real estate license in 2005.
Prior to joining Colonial Commercial, Philip began his career in 2003 as an Intern with Scott Brown Commercial in Denton, TX, where he was promoted to Commercial Property Manager, assisting in sales, leasing and management. He joined Alliance Commercial as Director of Corporate Services from 2006-2020, where he gained experience representing clients in the purchase and sale of commercial properties throughout the DFW area, with a focus in the sale of office and warehouse spaces. Daily interactions included negotiating lease terms and communicating and coordinating with landlords, landlords’ agents, Realtors/Brokers, attorneys, property managers, contractors, architects, space planners and city officials. As a knowledgeable professional in acquisition and disposition of investment properties, Andrew gained extensive experience in locating and marking properties, determining the market rate or capitalization rate of fair market value, negotiating the sales contract, lease renewals, and assisting tenants acquire new lease and purchase options. He assisted in the development of new and existing businesses, with relocation and expansion using local and state incentives while promoting municipal economic development.
Philip has 23 years of commercial real estate experience and prides himself on maintaining long term client relationships.
