Philip is a seasoned industrial real estate advisor with nearly four decades of experience representing owners, occupiers, developers, and investors throughout the Twin Cities and greater Midwest. Since beginning his commercial real estate career in 1988, Phil has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, results-driven solutions and cultivating long-standing client relationships founded on trust, integrity, and market expertise.
Specializing in industrial sales, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions, Phil has advised a diverse range of corporate and institutional clients, including 3M, Dow Chemical, UPS, Imation, First Industrial Realty Trust, and Opus. His extensive network of relationships across the industrial real estate community provides clients with valuable market intelligence and strategic opportunities, helping them make informed real estate decisions in an increasingly competitive environment.
After launching his career with KOLL Real Estate, Phil co-founded Paramount Real Estate Corporation in 1996, helping build one of the Twin Cities' most respected commercial real estate firms. In 2021, Paramount merged with Excelsior Advisory to form Forte Real Estate Partners, where Phil served as Principal and led the Industrial Advisory division. Under the firm's leadership, Forte advised on more than $885 million in transactions and earned recognition as a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Best Place to Work for three consecutive years.
In 2026, Forte joined Transwestern, expanding the firm's industrial advisory capabilities and national platform. Today, Phil continues to play an active role in the growth of Transwestern's industrial tenant advisory business, leveraging his deep market knowledge, collaborative approach, and decades of industry experience to help clients achieve their real estate objectives.
