Bio
Rob Fowler is Managing Partner at River Street Architecture, and was a founding partner of the firm in 1999. He graduated from the McCallie School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 1981.
Rob’s architectural work has focused on commercial and institutional projects, including shopping centers, offices, hotels and health care facilities. Rob spent several years working with Boeing and NASA designing crew systems and space habitats for exploration missions. He helped develop the configuration of the International Space Station, co-authored papers on building habitats on the lunar and Martian surface, and worked on an early design for a hotel in low earth orbit.
Rob is currently involved in the planning of several hotels around the Southeast, and the Cameron Harbor development on the riverfront in downtown Chattanooga.
Rob enjoys sailing and travels to regattas around the country. He is a licensed captain and delivers large sailboats between the East Coast and the Caribbean.
