Robert Dau is a Senior Associate with Transwestern, and specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties. Robert received a Bachelors in International Business from the Berlin School of Economics & Law (Germany) and Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge, UK), helping him to better understand the world of commercial real estate & finance. Prior to working in this industry, he gained financial industry experience through his job as an analyst in Leveraged Finance, serving debt capital financing to major private equity firms. His previous work experience includes analyzing & evaluating the financials of companies and advising institutional investors with their acquisition financing. Likewise, he provides both individuals and large investors with due diligence and exceptional service on commercial real estate transactions.
Robert has been part of the Shivu Srinivasan Team, one of the most dominant MF teams in East Bay for 3 years now. Utilizing his analytical background from his previous position in investment banking, he evaluates the financial drivers of commercial properties and conducts analyses to understand current market conditions. This allows his clients to assess their real estate investment strategies and add value to their portfolio.
