Bio
Sam Gauger serves as an Assistant Vice President at MLG Capital, focused on the acquisition of multifamily, industrial, and retail assets throughout the Midwest. Based in the firm’s Brookfield, WI headquarters, Sam is responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and leading the underwriting, evaluation, property due diligence, financing, and closing processes.
Prior to joining MLG Capital, Sam led multifamily brokerage efforts in Wisconsin for a global brokerage firm, where he oversaw deal sourcing, underwriting, and transaction execution for both private capital and institutional clients. His experience across the acquisition and disposition lifecycle provides a strong foundation for identifying and executing quality investment opportunities on behalf of MLG’s investors.
Sam earned his degrees in Real Estate and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is an active member of NAIOP and the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW) and currently serves as Associate Director of Eastern Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA).
Outside of work, Sam enjoys golfing, reading, and traveling with his wife, Caroline.
