Sam joined Heartwood Collection in 2010 as an Assistant Manager within Heartwood Inns and has since progressed through a range of operational roles, including General Manager, Openings Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Director. In 2022, he was appointed Operations Director. Sam is responsible for overseeing new openings and refurbishments from an operational perspective and works closely with Tom Palfreeman to support the wider Operations team. He also leads the Group’s sustainability initiatives.
