Scott Chandler is a seasoned real estate developer and broker with a career spanning over three decades. After earning a Marketing degree in the early 1990s, he quickly immersed himself in real estate, developing a passion for vacant land and new construction. With a keen ability to see the untapped potential in a property, Scott brings a creative vision to every project, transforming raw land and underutilized spaces into thriving developments. This interest led him to focus on real estate development, where he takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the process—from site acquisition and entitlements to construction and sales.
Throughout his career, Scott and his partners have successfully developed dozens of projects across the Midwest and Southeast. In 2006, he expanded into commercial development, joining forces with Dan Dykgraaf and Space Source.
In 2007, Scott and his wife relocated their young family to Costa Rica, where he served as the on-the-ground partner for a large condo-hotel project. During their four years there, they helped establish a Christian school that continues to thrive today. After living in Raleigh, NC for several years, Scott and his family returned home to West Michigan in 2014.
In recent years, Scott has led the development and expansion of Secure Storage, a growing self-storage brand with five locations in West Michigan and multiple new sites planned in both Florida and Michigan. Additionally, he plays a key role in the rapid expansion of Tommy’s Express Car Wash, securing prime locations throughout West Michigan and the Southeast. Scott also continues to lead the charge with several residential subdivisions throughout West Michigan.
With a wealth of experience in residential, commercial, and specialty real estate development, Scott remains committed to strategic growth and innovative projects that shape communities.
