Scott has successfully executed real estate transactions with every major retail developer on every significant retail street and retail district in the United States. His background includes new concept development, the planning and execution of store roll-outs, market analysis, site selection, lease negotiation, and financial management.
Scott got started in the retail consulting industry in 1998 working on the leasing effort of the highly successful Kierland Commons. That project introduced Scott to several national tenants that became clients. One of the founding members of MKJ Advisors, Scott managed the roll out of several national brands, including Lucky Brand and Brighton Collectibles. Currently Scott represents local, regional, and national tenants with a focus on the Southeast and Southwest. Scott’s tenants include Mephisto Shoes, Nori Sushi, Sauce Pizza & Wine, Obon Sushi Bar, Sizzle Korean BBQ, Nectar Bath Treats, Fired Pie, and J. Stephens Shoes. Prior clients have included RA Sushi, PF Changs, Z Tejas and others.
Scott’s reputation and success has afforded him the confidence with his colleagues nationally as Scott has assisted in the site selection in the Arizona market with Fogo de Chao, Bar Louie, Brio, Blue Martini, Lucky Strike, Uberitto, ATI Physical Therapy, and others.
