Sharon Gartin joined Kessinger Hunter & Company, LC in 1996 as an office broker where she handles the exclusive leasing responsibilities for several properties and national clients in the Kansas City area.Before joining Kessinger/Hunter & Company, Sharon was a broker and Vice President with Cohen-Esrey Real Estate Services, Inc. for 14 years. Prior to becoming an office broker, Sharon was the assistant property manager for a 700,000 SF office building in downtown Kansas City. She has served as the exclusive leasing agent for several institutional investors such as Highwoods Properties, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, Beta West Real Estate Asset Services, Sovereign Partners, Kansas City Life Insurance Company, Missouri State Employees Retirement System, US Life Realty Corporation, Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors for the State of Wisconsin Pension Fund and, most recently, VanTrust Real Estate, TA Associates, SunLife Assurance Company of Canada, Bentall Kennedy, Taubman Centers Inc., and Macerich Company.
Staying busy with her clients, Sharon was proud to win the 2013 Home Run Award through the Regional Association of Realtors. Currently, Sharon is jointly handling the leasing assignment of Park Central Plaza I and II on the Country Club Plaza. In addition, she handles the half million square foot 2300 Main Building, and Cliffside Professional Building in Independence. Over the years, her business portfolio has consisted of over two million square feet.
