Shawn Jackson is Managing Principal of the Seattle and Portland offices. Splitting his time between Seattle and Portland, Shawn will lead all market activities and drive growth and business performance throughout the Pacific Northwest. With more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Shawn Jackson leads Cushman & Wakefield’s operations across Washington and Oregon. He brings a strong background in property operations, leasing strategy, and capital project oversight to his role as Managing Principal. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Shawn served as Executive Vice President of Asset Operations at Urban Renaissance Group, where he oversaw the company’s operating platform, including property management, project management, and engineering. He also led numerous large lease transactions and provided strategic guidance across portfolios in Denver and Portland. Throughout his career, Shawn has held leadership roles at several of Seattle’s most respected real estate firms. His experience includes strategic residential development acquisitions, managing over $100 million in capital and tenant improvement projects, and contributing to award-winning developments and major lease transactions across the Pacific Northwest. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business (Marketing emphasis) from the University of Idaho, as well as a Real Property Administrator’s (RPA) designation from the Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) International. Shawn serves on Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) Board of Directors as well as the DSA’s Policy Committee and Executive Committee. Shawn was also appointed by the mayor to serve on the Central Waterfront Oversight Committee for the City of Seattle. He is a past member of the Seattle Sports Commission and the BOMA Board.
