Bio
Sherry received her real estate license in 1987, after having earned her BA in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and taught for 12 years. Her real estate Broker’s license was obtained in 1994. She and her husband, Jack, a local CPA, have lived in Farmville since 1980, and have raised two children here.
Sherry is very involved in the Farmville community, both professionally and personally as Past President, Treasurer, and Director of the local Real Estate Board. She is also the former Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Director of the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as Chair of the Town of Farmville’s Planning Commission.
Sherry is now working as an Associate Broker with HOMETOWN REALTY. After having sold with a national real estate office for 10 years, then co-founding and owning the local RE/MAX office for 17 years, she is now devoting much time and energy to furthering her service-oriented, professional, full-time real estate career at HOMETOWN REALTY. Most of her business is derived from previously satisfied customers and clients, as well as personal referrals. She welcomes the opportunity of assisting buyers and sellers in the 7-county Farmville market area.
