Bio
Mr. Van Leer is a Director in the New York office of JLL with more than nine years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is primarily responsible for sourcing debt and equity, as well as selling and restructuring loans across all commercial asset classes. Prior to joining HFF in 2016, later to be acquired by JLL, Mr. Van Leer worked for CCRE, the commercial lending arm of Cantor Fitzgerald, focused on originating fixed and floating-rate mortgages and sub-debt positions. Advance to that Mr. Van Leer held similar positions at Wells Fargo and Arbor Realty Trust. Throughout his career, he has participated in the completion of more than $2.0 billion in real estate transactions.
