Bio
Steve is the Chief Executive Officer and a Principal of Granite Real Estate Group, LLC, a privately owned, full service commercial real estate company located in Syracuse, New York. With more than 25 years of in-depth experience in commercial real estate investment, development, financing, and management, Steve is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Granite. Steve also oversees acquisitions, brokerage, construction, and legal operations for Granite. Over the course of his career, Steve has spearheaded and completed commercial real estate investment acquisitions, dispositions and leasing transactions in excess of $750M.
Prior to forming Granite, Steve was a Principal in Summit Realty Management, LLC. Steve also served as the Managing Director of Granite Ridge LLC, where he leveraged his experience to visualize, start and grow a real estate company engaged in the acquisition, investment and management of NNN lease, retail, multi-family and medical office properties throughout the East Coast of the United States.
Steve began his career as an Attorney with Hancock & Estabrook, LLP. with a primary focus on Real Estate and Corporate Law.
Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University, and earned a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Business/Corporate Law from Syracuse University College of Law.
Steve is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker.
