Tamar Moy joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2017 at the firm's New York headquarters. With 20 years of experience in workplace strategy with a specialty in the field of corporate interior design, Ms. Moy has extensive knowledge of workplace best practices and issues across industries. She is passionate about engaging clients to develop innovative real estate solutions that promote corporate culture, work process and business objectives. Ms. Moy then translates these insights into informed workplace strategies that optimize the real estate investment to better position the client for long term success. Her expertise includes real estate portfolio planning; workplace guidelines development; alternative workplace strategies; pre- and post-occupancy studies; staff engagement techniques; user needs assessment; and change management. Additionally, Ms. Moy has hands on experience in guiding progressive organizations in how to prioritize health and wellness in the workplace to benefit from increased employee satisfaction and performance. Prior to joining NKF, Ms. Moy served as director of workplace strategy for Perkins Eastman. As the firm-wide leader for the corporate interiors workplace strategy practice, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of pre- and post-design analysis and strategy development. In this capacity, Ms. Moy completed workplace projects for companies that included athenahealth, Bloomberg, Google and McGraw Hill Financial, among many others. Previously, Ms. Moy served as senior workplace strategist and interior designer for HLW International, where she was responsible for delivering the full scope of workplace design and strategy to a diverse range of clients, including ABC News, Disney, Twitter and Univision. For nearly 10 years, Ms. Moy served as workplace consultant and interior designer for Gensler, where she completed consulting projects for 3M, The Boston Consulting Group and Ropes & Gray. At the start of her career, Ms. Moy worked as a design researcher for Robert Luchetti, a prominent figure in field workplace strategy.
