Tate Blalock started his career in commercial real estate with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services in Scottsdale, AZ. There, he went on to lead Phoenix’s medical capital markets team in transaction volume ($ amount - & - # of deals closed) facilitating numerous transactions with private investors, developers, and several REITs.
In December 2022, Tate moved to Avison Young as a Retail Leasing Broker under the Phoenix office's two principal Retail brokers. Tate was responsible for high-level collaboration with Landlords, Developers, and Investors to advise, identify, and attract optimal tenants for a well-established portfolio of properties, including ground-up developments, regional power centers, grocery-anchored centers, PADs, and other property types.
In early 2025, Tate Blalock joined Cushman & Wakefield’s veteran multi-service retail team as a Senior Associate. Tate now works hand-in-hand with Chris Hollenbeck, Brent Mallonee, and Shane Carter, utilizing his experience in both retail investment sales and retail leasing to deliver comprehensive and integrated real estate services to investors and his portfolio Landlord & Tenant clients.
