Will Wright serves as Managing Director, Southeast at Carson Companies, a role he assumed in February 2026. In this position, he leads the firm’s real estate activities across key Southeast markets, guiding portfolio strategy, market expansion, and regional development initiatives. His responsibilities include oversight of acquisitions, entitlement strategy, stakeholder coordination, and regional business development. With a focus on driving long-term portfolio performance, he plays a central role in advancing Carson Companies’ presence throughout Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, and surrounding growth markets.
Before joining Carson Companies, Wright built a robust development and land transaction background during nearly seven years at Hillwood, one of the country’s leading industrial real estate developers. Most recently, he served as Director of Land Transactions (2023–2026), where he managed industrial land strategy across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. His earlier Hillwood roles included Development Director (2022–2023) and Development Manager (2019–2022), positions where he oversaw project due diligence, vertical development oversight, and large-scale industrial land pipelines.
Wright began his career as a Project Engineer with Winter Construction (2017–2019), supporting preconstruction planning, contractor coordination, and field engineering activities on major commercial projects. His early experience in engineering and construction provided the technical foundation that now informs his development leadership
