William S. Barroll serves as Chief Business Officer and Managing Senior Vice President at COPT Defense Properties, where he is involved in leasing, asset management, and development-related activities across the company’s office and mission-critical property portfolio. His responsibilities have included overseeing leasing strategy, tenant engagement, and portfolio repositioning initiatives within key defense-oriented markets.
Barroll has more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining COPT Defense Properties, he held leasing and brokerage roles at CarrAmerica and Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on landlord and tenant representation in the Washington, D.C./Maryland region. Earlier in his career, he also served as Maryland Director for The Conservation Fund, where he worked on complex land acquisitions, including a large-scale statewide transaction.
