The company in its modern iteration was founded in 1999 following the merger of Jones Lang Wooton and LaSalle Partners as the merger of those two company’s fund management divisions and operates as an independent subsidiary of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL ). The company’s portfolio is global, with investments in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Their real asset investments are primarily located in major metropolitan markets, with the largest markets in their portfolio by number of properties being London, Toronto, and Chicago. Its acquisition strategy is diversified, with industrial, office, and multi-family all represented in their global portfolio. The remainder of AUM falls under LaSalle’s Global Solutions business line which includes public equities and indirect real estate investments via securities. It also is a lending solutions provider in North America since 2006 and Europe since 2010.
