Postal Realty Trust, Inc. is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) focused on the ownership of properties leased to the USPS. The company completed its initial public offering (IPO) in 2019 and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “PSTL”. Postal Realty Trust ended 2024Q1 with a market cap of $413 million.
Postal Realty Trust’s portfolio spans all 50 states but more than 22% of its gross rent is derived from assets owned in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and California. The company acquired 223 properties in 2023 for an aggregate purchase price of nearly $78 million. During 2024Q1, Postal Realty acquired another 29 properties for a little more than $18.5 million. Portfolio occupancy has been incredibly strong and has been reported at 99.6% or more as of each quarter end since Postal’s 2019 IPO.
