How Buy Now Works

Buy Now allows you to skip the auction process and instantly secure commercial properties through a fast, safe, and secure method.

Simply log into your LoopNet account, sign the confidentiality agreement, and review the property's due diligence, just as in a traditional auction process.

Then, click the "BUY NOW" button, link the proof of funds, and complete the transaction in just 10 minutes to secure the deal.

How to Use Buy Now

1. Log in to your LoopNet account

You must have a LoopNet account to purchase a Buy Now property.

 

2. Sign the Confidentiality Agreement (CA) and view the property's due diligence.

You can find this on the property's listing page. Once you've signed the CA, you'll be able to see the Buy Now price and the Buy Now end time.

 

3. Click the Buy Now button on your chosen property's listing page.

You must be logged into your LoopNet account, registered, and approved to bid on the property.

 

4. Securely link your bank account via Stripe to verify your proof of funds.

Your proof of funds must be equal to or exceed the Buy Now price.

 

5. Complete your transaction within 10 minutes to secure the deal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will every property be available to Buy Now?

Buy Now will only be enabled on certain properties. You will see a Buy Now button on the property's listing page if this option is available.

When will I find out if a property I'm interested in is available to Buy Now?

A "Buy Now" button will appear on the property's listing page. Additionally, if you've signed a Confidentiality Agreement (CA) for that property, you'll receive an email notification when the property becomes available for immediate purchase.

When is the deadline to purchase a Buy Now property?

Buy Now will end at 5pm PT on the Monday a week prior to the original auction date.

Where can I see the Buy Now price?

Once you've signed the Confidentiality Agreement (CA), the Buy Now price will appear on the banner of the property listing page, along with the Buy Now end time.

Why did the Buy Now price change?

The Buy Now price may change during the Buy Now period. The price will only ever change to a lower amount.

Why can't I click the Buy Now button?

To click the Buy Now button, you must be logged into your LoopNet account, registered, and approved to bid on the property. You also cannot click on the button if anyone else is going through the buying process.

Are there any requirements for my Proof of Funds balance?

Your Stripe proof of funds must be equal to or greater than the starting bid price of the listing, and your total proof of funds must meet or exceed the Buy Now price.

Why do I only have ten minutes?

We want to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to purchase Buy Now properties. The countdown clock will not begin until you accept the terms and conditions. If you have a problem or exit the buying process during your 10 minute window, you can click the Buy Now button on the LDP to return to the buying process. You can enter the buying process 3 times in total.

Can I manually upload proof of funds documents instead of connecting an account with Stripe?

You must have at least one bank account connected with Stripe with proof of funds greater than or equal to the starting bid amount to purchase a Buy Now property. Your total proof of funds must also meet or exceed the Buy Now price. Manual proof of funds documents can only be submitted during registration and approval before making a purchase. You cannot upload manual proof of funds during the Buy Now process itself.

If someone else purchases the Buy Now property but it doesn't go under contract, will I still be able to purchase the property?

If a property purchased through Buy Now does not go under contract, it will proceed to auction as originally scheduled.

Why does the Buy Now button say "Contract Pending"?

This means that another investor is currently in the buying process. If they do not complete the transaction and there's still time left in the Buy Now window, the button will become available again.

Why does the Buy Now button say "Under Contract"?

This means that someone has signed the PSA for this property.

Will I find out if the property is sold?

If you have signed the CA for a Buy Now property, you will receive a notification if it is sold.
