Blue Point started with two friends and their Toasted Lager, the American amber lager that quickly became a beer New Yorkers were proud to stand behind, taking home two World Beer Cup gold medals and earning a reputation as a no-frills, all-flavor, everyday beer in the process. Today, it's their flagship beer in a growing lineup of easy-drinking, hard-not-to-love craft beers. In 2014, Blue Point partnered with Anheuser-Busch to bring Blue Point to more mouths across the country. Their operations, brewing, and management are still in Patchogue, N.Y., and that dockside vibe still inspires everything they do, including brewing beers with local oyster shells, beach plums, and seaweed. In 2019, they added a brewery just up the road on Main Street, Patchogue. Sure, it helps them to brew more beer, but —more importantly—it helps more beer lovers experience the place and people that inspire Blue Point every day.
