Logistics firms and warehouses are warmly welcomed in the aptly named City of Industry, where roughly 3,000 businesses operate amid fewer than 500 full-time residents. Route 60 and the Union Pacific rail line, both major logistics transportation corridors, shape the city’s boundaries and link the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to the Inland Empire and points east.
