Property Overview
We are in the heart of many many Federal, State and Municipal organizations and a block from SF City Hall. One side of our building faces Golden Gate Ave. One side faces Turk Street and the 3rd side is on an ally (Elm Street), which during daylight hours is occupied by the children from the Tenderloin Community Elementary School. The ally has significant decoration on the sidewalks, the fences and some of the buildings reminding all that this is a children's place for play and education. We also have a Civic Center Ambassador Program. The Civic Center Community Benefit District (CCCBD) provides orange-uniformed street ambassadors near City Hall, operating 7 AM–7 PM daily, plus evening ambassadors (Tuesday-Saturday, 6–11 PM) for safety, cleaning, and hospitality in the plaza and nearby areas.
